Professor Zhang Bisheng will analyze the main issues in academic research and paper writing based on his own experience in writing, publishing, and reviewing academic papers. He will summarize the basic methods of academic research, key points, and precautions for paper writing and submission, aiming to provide reference for improving the academic research ability and paper writing level of teachers and students.

Speaker Introduction:

Zhang Bisheng is a professor and doctoral supervisor at Guizhou Normal University. His main research interest includes history of science, history of translation, science education, and educational history. He has hosted 2 projects funded by the National Social Science Foundation, as well as 8 provincial and ministerial-level research projects (including one key project) and other research projects. He has published nearly 50 academic papers in academic journals such as Studies in Dialectics of Nature, Studies in Philosophy of Science and Technology, The Chinese Journal for the History of Science and Technology, Foreign Languages in China, Foreign Language Learning Theory and Practice, Shanghai Journal of Translators, Publishing Research, Higher Education Exploration, Journal of National Academy of Education Administration, Guizhou Social Sciences, and Journal of Northwest University(Natural Science Edition). Professor Zhang has won 2 awards for Outstanding Achievements in Philosophy and Social Sciences in Guizhou Province. He currently serves as a youth editorial board member for core journals such as Studies on Science Popularization, and also works as a communication review expert and achievement appraisal expert for the National Social Science Foundation, as well as a reviewer for several CSSCI source journals. He is also a board member of multiple academic societies and serves as a part-time professor or visiting professor at several universities. In recent years, he has been invited to give lectures at many prestigious universities such as Shandong University, Fudan University, Shanghai Jiao Tong University, Central South University, Ocean University of China, and Guizhou University.
