On the evening of April 14, 2023, at 7 p.m., the third National Social Science Fund project application and argumentation meeting focusing on the area studies was successfully held via Tencent Meeting. This session featured online guidance and communication from Professor Wang Yu Jie, Vice Dean of the School of Philosophy at Renmin University of China, and Professor Chen Tianshe from the School of History at Zhengzhou University. Our school’s Dean Cao Ruonan, along with nine professional teachers from our school and teachers from the School of History and the Middle East Studies Institute attended the meeting. During the meeting, the two expert mentors provided comprehensive and detailed evaluations and analyses of the project proposals submitted by the nine teachers, offering many valuable suggestions. The argumentation session lasted for three hours. Finally, Dean Cao Ruonan expressed gratitude to the two expert professors for their participation and looked forward to the successful submission of the teachers’ projects.
