On the afternoon of November 15, 2023, the School convened a general assembly and a special meeting to elect additional members of the Academic Sub-committee at the Lecture Hall of the Second Classroom. The meeting was attended by the school's party and administrative leadership, as well as all faculty and staff members. Secretary Wang Jun presided over the proceedings.
During the meeting, Secretary Wang Jun read out the "Charter of the Academic Committee of Northwest University" and related notifications from the school, and organized the election of additional members to the Academic Sub-committee. Ultimately, four new members were elected to the committee.

After the voting concluded, leaders in charge of various departments of the school briefed the attendees on recent key work tasks. Deputy Secretary Liu Jianbo reported on the progress of new student enrollment education, emphasizing the need to organize campus cultural activities based on the school's disciplinary characteristics and to effectively empower students in various categories. Deputy Dean of Teaching Li Min reported on the routine teaching work of the current semester, as well as the basic situation of newly established high-quality student source bases and teaching internship bases. She also encouraged young teachers to actively participate in teaching competitions to continuously improve their professional skills and capabilities. Deputy Dean of Research Su Rui summarized and analyzed the status of research project applications in the school, encouraging teachers to actively participate in academic workshops, engage in in-depth exchanges, and contribute to the output of research project applications through organized research activities. Deputy Dean of Administration Yang Ying concluded the previous stage of administrative management work and arranged and deployed talent introduction, traffic safety rectification, and fire safety month activities.
