The second NUEDL is held in Xidian University from April 24 to April 25.
Under the instruction of Miss. Xuan Jing and graduate student Liu Yiming, the team makes up of mainly our college students participated in this contest for our university and all won prizes at different rank. The members of NWU team1 and team2 Tan Jiahui, Gaotian, Zhang Ruixin, Gao Yuan all wins the first prize. Members of NWU team3 and team4 win the second prize. Gao Tian and Tan Jiahui both win the title “best debater”.
The layout of this match adopts the way of British Parliament. It’s an opportunity for contestants to present their elegant demeanor and develop their debating skills as well as a warm-up match for them to prepare the 14th national college students’ English debate contest. 40 teams from 8 universities compete in this debate league.
