In order to enhance the linguistics knowledge, widen horizon, and improve the ability of practice, our school has organized an internship of the students who will enter the society a few months later.
The destination of this internship is Shanxi province where Students have visited several famous cultural scenic spots including Pingyao Ancient City, Qiao’s Grand Courtyard, Jin Temple, and Wang’s Grand Courtyard. During the trip, graduates not only practiced the skills of interpretation, but also learned a lot of local customs. What’s more, they have corrected many translation mistakes in the scenic spots, formed their own understanding of the tourist attractions, and put forward some better translation version. The communication between students and teachers has also been increased. The best part of the internship is that students can put what they have learned into practice.
The annual graduation internship is an important section in teaching affairs and professional training. It’s a golden chance for students to learn useful interpretation skills and to enrich their life experiences.
